I have a Homelite Chainsaw Model No 10770 I can get the thing to idle but cant get it to run at full throttle. Its real hard to get any type of info or spares to fix these things. Does anyone know anything about these things hints tips etc. Do you guys know of a supplier who might be able to track down spares for these things. The carby is a ZAMA made in China model No H35 68p. Apparently Homelite was owned by John Deere but then they sold it off or closed it down and its real hard to find out anything about them I would be loath to throw the saw away just cause the carbys not working. Hope you guys can help me out. SCOTTY (Australia) scotty

Scotty, I have exactly the same problem with mine and just saw your message while looking for an agent. Have you had any luck. I will have a bit of a search and if anything turns up, will let you know. I am in Australia as well (Portland).

Check the spark suppressor on the muffler.

It’s a little screen on the muffler outlet.

If clogged remove the screen and throw it away.

Don’t throw away the little redirector baffle that sits over it. Just remove the screen and reinstall the baffle without the screen.

Safety crap that always gets clogged up. It causes the saw to be sluggish with low power and not rev properly.

So I've been sorta-kinda told that I'll deceive a job in D.C. waiting for me when I graduate (don't ask, great life ). I planned on unfixed there after undergrad anyways, but this makes it more apposite that I transfer pick up stakes and go to Washington.

I desire to find out unprejudiced everyday info. hither D.C. Basically, whatever comes to your mind. What's sedateness hither it? Is it vibrant, lots of restaurants/bars/etc. around? Does it deceive foot See trade agreat the lines of NYC or LA or Chicago (not pregnant it to be as blunt as those)?

I fancy the underlying questions are "Is it a avail view to lodge" and "Do you/did you get high on living in D.C.".

Again, deem unencumbered to ifiable death- off whatever comes to mind. Thanks in advance.
